Beginner from Michigan

Howdy, I'm Ratt
I'm learning how to garden on my own. Got my own place with a big yard where I want to grow everything from veggies to flowers. I have aspirations to grow native wildflowers, peppers, and someday I want to try to grow strawberries right out front.

I also want to figure out how to compost, it still hasn't clicked in my head yet unfortunately.

Are you in the UP or the mitten? I have aspirations of moving to the UP, but it sounds challenging from a gardening perspective.
